These frequently asked questions have been asked by you, our Hartnell College colleagues, surrounding the One Hartnell initiative. This FAQ page is a living site and will be revised over time as more questions and answers arise about the One Hartnell implementation at the College. I keep hearing terms like “leadership team,” “task force,” “implementation team,” and “development team”. What do these terms mean, how are they related to each other, and how do they fit into the One Hartnell initiative?
The Steering Leadership Team is the group that is providing global oversight for the One Hartnell project. Since the One Hartnell project is a comprehensive approach to how the college will reimagine how we operate and deliver services as well as unify processes across the educational centers to provide holistic support for students, task forces were created to focus on specific facets of the work, with implementation teams forming to execute on the task forces’ work. Development teams were also created to provide additional support to the task forces and implementation teams in change management, data, and technology areas. How important is One Hartnell to the future of Hartnell College?
One Hartnell is not just important to the future of Hartnell College, One Hartnell IS the future of Hartnell College. The decision to implement the One Hartnell initiative was the right choice for Hartnell College, and further continues our
mission to support our students.
Is there a visual representation of One Hartnell that helps communicate this initiative?
While there is a project structure graphic that has been created to visually represent the current groups in place (located on the One Hartnell Project Structure page), there will be supplemental materials and deliverables to view, specific to each group, as well as global materials that will contain One Hartnell updates to view.
